Tender

I've been busy catching up. I finally developed a couple huge bags full of film -- some of which was over two years old. I didn't mind spending my winter (and most of the spring) developing film - I love not knowing what I'll find on a roll of film. I also can work out the kinks in my process - which developers work best for me - keeping dust down - learning characteristics of films I've not used before, etc. -- all good.

I was really pleased when I developed the roll containing this particular image. I shoot A LOT of images of my family - I don't have time for anything else - and that's fine. I'm of the opinion that if you can't photograph your loved ones - and capture the true essence of who they are - then, you can't very well venture beyond your front door with much hope of success. Just my two cents...

Anyway - I love this image - enough said...

Also -- if there's someone reading this who has experience with MT (or even WP) - and would be interested in helping me to reprogram - move - start from scratch - this site - please send me an email. I have a great designer all lined up :-) - I just need someone with programming skillz to fix things up a bit...

OH -- and congrats to my Blackhawks!!! Finally, a Chicago sports team brings home the big prize!

I had been taking photographs because I hoped to be able to direct movies. That’s why I never cropped any of the photographs; they are all full-frame. -Dennis Hopper
