Well -- tomorrow my most favorite sister in the whole universe turns 29 -- again... Where does the time go? Seems like only yesterday I was calling her Bucky Beaver and making fun of her black boots -- and before that - changing her diapers and feeding her. She was such a Princess -- and still is... Happy Birthday, Kit -- I love you...
And -- today marks five years of posting images in this corner of the internet. I've had fun - and I hope to have five more years of fun. I'll be changing things up quite a bit over the next few months. I've been working with new tools -- and I have a great friend to help me retool the way I'll show my images. Should be good - I hope. I just feel this place needs a new face -- to go along with some of the new things I've been up to.
Also - five years is about 1800 days. That doesn't seem long - but about 1800 days ago I was just back from my first trip to Havana - single - and slaving away in corporate america. I can't say I can complain about those days - but man have things changed - and I can't say I have much to complain about now either. It's just different. I think the difference is I see the world now through a different lens - literally. Turning 50 will do that to you I suppose. I never thought about 1800 days - and how precious that time really is - until now.
Here's to the next 1800 days - I'm going to live them more vigorously than I did the last 1800... Stay tuned...
