I stepped out this morning to grab the paper, and this little fellah was sitting in my driveway. Lainey sort of followed him around a bit, but didn't really seem all that interested. After all, she's a bird dog :-) Here's another view of him.

I'm a bit worried about him, so I did some quick searching on the the web and came up with the National Opossum Society. One quick fact about Opossums: "Solitary and nocturnal: usually slow moving; when frightened and unable to flee may fall into an involuntary shock-like state, "playing 'possum"." I think I better give a call to the society and see what to do about him. He seems far away from his home...
