I think I wrote about this before - but every day I'm so thankful that she's healthy and happy. It was about this time two years ago Alison went in for her final ultrasound - I couldn't go - the only appointment I missed. She came home crying -- the person who did the ultrasound said there was something strange on the scan and we should come back the following week for another look-see. I didn't want to wait, but the soonest we could get back in was the next Monday. That was the longest weekend of my life.
We went back on Monday and everything looked great -- and then Mae was born a few days later - weighing in just shy of 10 pounds. She showed up - and immediately began her life with a yawn - then a loud snoring nap...
I do believe in a higher power -- and I'm thankful for such a wonderful - and healthy - child -- I love her more than old vinyl Prince LP's...
Enjoy your weekend -- I'm still recovering -- but almost there -- I hope...
