We sat on the porch together this afternoon. She discovered an ant - a BIG ant - probably a carpenter ant. I didn't have a camera with me - I wish I had. She spent several minutes on her tummy just looking as the ant crawled along the floorboards. She started talking to it - I have no idea what she was saying. I wish I knew. Finally, she just sat in my lap and watched the birds fly by.

I love her more than those caramel candies with the white center...
