Mom in Kodak Color

My friend, Annabelle Texter sent me a few rolls of Kodak VPS - way past the expiration date, but that's half the fun. You never know what you'll get when you finally process the film. The colors are usually crazy wonderful, and this roll didn't let me down.

A special thanks to my mom, she's such a great sport. I told her I had a roll of film in my bag I wanted to try out, but there was no guarantee that anything would even show up once it was processed. She thought that was pretty exciting and said, "just tell me what you want me to do!". What's so endearing to me is I can remember when I bought my first camera, she just didn't like me taking her photo - now, I can't keep her away from the lens! Thanks Mom for letting me work my project - you're a great model...

I'm just getting back from a long week on the road. I did get to see some great friends for dinner, so that made it all worth while. I'm hoping there won't be too many more trips before I head north. My life is about to change - in a very big way - but I'm extremely excited and happy.

Have a wonderlicious weekend. For those of you on the east coast - get some photos of the snow! For the rest of us - well, it's that time of year for nice macros of flowers popping up through the earth... Life cycles - again - enjoy it!
