I'm a little disappointed this evening. I went to scan more film with the 3170 and found a problem. When I scan, there are 3 scan lines running down the entire strip of film. I called Epson, and it appears to be a hardware issue. Thankfully, the scanner has a year warranty - so I'll have to take it in for repair. Bummer.

Anyway - I had to crop out the bottom part of this image to eliminate the lines -- so it's not completely square. This is John sitting quietly while I practice with my pinhole :-) For those of you who want to know the specifics: Fuji 120 Acros 100 ASA film -- exposure about 4 seconds - partly cloudy skies.
